MYSIA. Pergamum. Commodus, 177-192. Medallion (Orichalcum, 44 mm, 40.33 g, 6 h), Homonoia with Ephesos. P. Ai. Pios, strategos, circa 180-182. ΑY ΚΑΙ Μ ΑYΡΗ ΚΟΜΟΔΟC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Commodus to right, seen from behind. Rev. ΕΠΙ ϹΤΡ Π ΑΙ ΠΙΟY ΚΟΙΝΟΝ ΟΜΟ // ΠЄΡΓΑΜΗΝΩΝ / ΚΑΙ ЄΦЄϹΙΩΝ On the left, the demos of Pergamon (or the hero Pergamos?) standing right, holding statue of Asklepios in his right hand and transverse scepter in his left, facing youthful hero of Ephesos (Androklos or Ephesos), on the right, standing front, head to left, holding cult statue of Artemis Ephesia in his right hand and scepter in his left; between them, altar.
